New on WideWord: Crack my docs and see your own access logs
I may live to regret this, but I think the proof is in the pudding (until someone throws it in my face of course).
To help demonstrate the security of WideWord I have created two new tools to show what I’m talking about:
Crack my docs
Here you will see my latest 5 documents in the same encrypted form as they are stored in the database. The only difference is that they are Base64 encoded for viewability purposes.
If you are able to decipher these, then I am in trouble with regards to my statements about the security of WideWord.
View your own access logs
To show the only information my web server logs about you in our access logs you can now see your own live access log. This is the exact raw log as generated by my web server, only filtered by your IP address.
Someone will no doubt say that I could still log other information about you. The only other information I do store is either your email address or is encrypted by your own key and is in the database. There is no straightforward way of correlating the access logs with your documents.
