Project blogging in WideBlog
Blogs are great as we all know, but there are limits to what your clients or even your own company may want to blog about.
At my current consulting project I am working with people from 3 different vendors and one client. So to coordinate I’ve set up a WideBlog for all of us to keep up to speed on what we are doing.
It has turned out to be much better and useful than searching through your outlook mail box for information.
WideBlog is completely private and encrypted. It also tries to keep the details of encryption out of your hair, so there is no extra software to install and learn and no long pass phrases to remember.
A project blog is an informal and personal project diary. You write quickly and concisely without worrying too much about spelling, grammar or formal language.
A good project blog article is written in less than 5 minutes and takes less than a minute to read.
Write about:
- I have a little problem, can anyone help?
- Questions
- Status on milestones
I suggest that you invite everyone as a writer and not a reader. This encourages more people to use it and post.
