Oh no IBM competes with WideBlog in the Secret Blog space 2
Man I am so screwed. I just discovered via Eric that IBM already has a product in the Secure private blog space that I am aiming to own (or define) with WideBlog.
This a Weblog Preview component for imaginatively named IBM Workplace Collaboration Suite which I believe is meant to be their replacement for Lotus Notes.
I suppose if you have already made an investment in a Workplace Collaboration Suite server and have an IT support department that can install it this is perfect for you.
Otherwise you might just use WideBlog which lets you setup your own super secret internal project blog in less than a minute and for free.

Actually i think Stellent just annouced a Blog module for publishing internal blogs as well.
Don’t worry your not screwed yet. Workplace Collaboration is a horrendous system and there are plenty of companies to go around ;-)
Thanks Stuart, I’m really not too worried. These huge IBM projects seem to be created to boost employment within IBM and not to actually be used anywhere.
